How in ****’s name did it take so long to confirm that Chelsea goal? Jesus wept
Yep you could see it was onside from the first replay easily. As for looking at the foul, it was nothing and again could be seen straight away. Quite why they have to spend so long looking at this shite is beyond me.

They have totally ruined football and everyone shrugs their shoulders and just takes it.

Bring in that automated offside thing and then just scrap the rest altogether.

For all we’ve been on the receiving end of some bad decisions this season, we’ve no doubt also benefited from some too and that’s just life. It has been far more enjoyable this season without VAR.

One of the most obvious things I’ve ever seen, but I’ve watched very little PL this season so maybe there has been worse.

Hate to say it, because I was always pro-technology before it was around, but I agree entirely. The way it’s been implemented and the application of it has been unforgivably awful. Goal line tech, great. Automated offside decisions, if it works in real time, fine. Examining a perfectly good goal for several minutes? Dustbin.

Yep this season has confirmed for me with VAR as it is in the PL, we’re better off without it. And like you I always thought it could work.

Seems to work fine in the World Cup, we’ve just got it wrong in the PL.

The Spurs manager seems a really good man. Speaks sense and well balanced.

However, he cannot organise a team to save his life. He just puts 11 players out in a tired formation and tells them to play. He's tactically inept.

Reminds me of Pearson with us. I always felt well looked with him in charge except for the actual football side of things. He just sent 11 out and banked on them being better than the opposition.

Even with points deductions at the bottom of the league to shake things up a bit.... can anyone remember a less eventful season than this one? All 3 promoted sides were absolutely white and Man City win it again unless there's some ridiculously unlikely stuff yet to come.

Joe’s attempts at humour are every bit as laboured and unfunny as mine so I feel comfortable recommending something specifically to him.
I'm working on it.
