To be fair, he’s shared a hotel room with me on at least three occasions, so even Mansfield isn’t the worst trip he’s had.

On crutches. On the halfway line amongst the away fans. I only knew we had scored when I saw them coming back up to kick-off. Had my photo taken with Mickey Adams afterwards in the bar just after he got some kind of award for getting them promoted. He told me I was a fine lad.

Oh ****, no! It was you who forgot your passport. What I should have said was as least you remembered you had forgotten your passport in time for another TBer to make a superhuman effort to get it and have it delivered to Stansted in time for our flight.
Alternatively I could have said at least you remembered your passport on the way back.
My memory is officially ****ed!
