Joey? Someone say Joey??
AND Stephen Hughes.

Imagine that.

Not only a dynamic midfield duo but also looked like they could be the singer and guitarist from a Scottish 80’s pop rock band.

Say what you like, but Hughes' rocket was a thing of beauty

Is that the time that we won after a second replay, or something?

Nope we lost the replay the one that went to a 2nd reply was in 1975
74/75 we also played them twice in the League Cup. Drew at Highbury and won the replay. So we played them seven times in the season.
The notable thing about the two replays tie is that it was all over in 10 days;. Saturday, Wednesday, Monday. These days you couldn't even stage a single replay in that time. And soon they are going to disappear altogether.
Modern football is shit.

Two years ago today we beat Chelsea to top the PL table at half way.

Of the 14 players we used in that match, only two have left (Schmeichel and Fofana).

Hilarious.

Nothing wrong here.

45 years ago today we lost 1-0 at Walsall in the FA cup. The only time we've ever played them in the competition.
I didn't realise it was actually to the very day. I remember listening on the radio & being utterly miserable & as if the arse had fallen out of my world. A cup run was the only chance of any joy in that abysmal season. I couldn't understand how the pushing for europe & widely admired for it's style of football team I'd started following only 2 & a half years earlier had turned into a pile of wank propping up the division.

45 years is a long time to wait for revenge.

& I actually don't feel anything as of course worse was to come after that. But it really did feel like the end of the world at the time.

Guessing it's Vardy's brace against Liverpool in our title winning season?

Edit: I just looked it upon Google and it is the same day, so I think my guess is correct, although I can't be certain of this. It's a good guess I reckon, but one cannot be reliant on good guesses when they have limited evidence on which to base said guess. I am trying though.

I could watch that goal over and over for the rest of my life.
‘Tis Leicester City trademark 2015/16 goal.

A goal of simplistic beauty. ****, that excitement every time Mahrez got the ball, telepathic communication between him and JV, simply beautiful to watch.
