They thought they had, but then the Japanese complained about one of their scores. So GB ended up with bronze.

First GB team gymnastics medal in 100 years. A little bittersweet after it looked like silver at first, but a fantastic achievement

Watched some of the floor work with open mouth. How the hell do you practice some of those moves?

Incredible, 9 years ago they finished 23rd in a world championship, now in top 3.

Our two medal hopes messed up and knocked fences down. Won't be picking up any medals.

Not that I was expecting a rush of golds by now, but it's a shame that we are making silly mistakes costing us silvers and bronzes: in the eventing, canoeing, diving. Also the swimmers are hardly pulling out PBs which you would want even if they weren't in the top 3.

Yeah, none of this would have happened under Sven. It would have been gold all the way, and the weather would have been great as well.
