Then weirdly Man U signed Rio not much later.

Emile got the goal in a 1-0 win.

He had Rio on toast every time he played against him.

Rio Ferndinand joined Leeds eight months after Heskey went to Liverpool. His Leeds debut was indeed at Filbert Street, and it finished 3-1. Savage, Akinbiyi, Taggart. Heskey did score that day, but he was playing against Charlton at Anfield. Rio’s move to Man Utd was almost two years later.

Heskey did play against Ferdinand in a West Ham shirt several times. None of them finished 1-0 to Leicester, but he did score a handful of goals against them.

This was the game I was on about. If you look at the Leeds line up, you will notice the absence of Rio.

They obviously got their games mixed up as well
