    On This Day.

I remember watching him play as a kid, as he was the best player on the best team (Ratby & Groby) in the county, at my brother’s age group. He often played at the back and still scored a ridiculous amount of goals.

I mean, yes it’s a laughable concept, but can you really 100% rule it out, given some of our decisions over the past couple of years?

Yeesh. Suspect he'll be in demand, at Championship level anyway. Thought he'd done a decent job this season for them.

I don’t know about that. They backed off pretty quickly to let Palace score the first goal. Impressive how fast they moved away from Olise to let him have his shot.

For all we’ve been on the receiving end of some bad decisions this season, we’ve no doubt also benefited from some too and that’s just life. It has been far more enjoyable this season without VAR.

Yep you could see it was onside from the first replay easily. As for looking at the foul, it was nothing and again could be seen straight away. Quite why they have to spend so long looking at this shite is beyond me.

The hysterically annoying and totally unfounded, but traditional, Summer 2024 rumours thread.

"Leicester City will be free to sign players in this summer's transfer window despite being placed under embargo by the EFL last month. The EFL imposed a registration embargo on Leicester for allegedly breaching the upper loss limits in their PSR forecasts for this season, but the Premier...

Burnley have got Newcastle (H) and Spurs (A) before that, whereas Forest have got Sheffield Utd (A) and Chelsea (H). I fancy Forest to get more points from their fixtures than Burnley and, given that they’re already 2 points clear of them with a much better goal difference, I reckon Forest will...

This could be a bit like the trip to Bolton, when we clinched the Championship title, a few years ago. Sadly I can’t go on Monday, but that was a good day out, so hopefully it’ll be the same for all those going tomorrow.

It’s a reasonable question. I can’t be arsed to ask this Robotto bloke though, so we’ll just have to assume it’s real anyway.

Either, for me. It can be Hull as far as I care, but it would certainly suit us for Leeds and Southampton to stay down.

    Best promotion season?

Exactly this. After the previous two years, it was amazing. To beat Derby in the final, after they’d spent all that money, was even better. Wembley was carnage that day when the winner went in.

I felt that we passed it through their lines much better last night. It might have helped that they pressed us a bit, rather than just sitting back, so it made space in behind their pressing, but it was much better nonetheless.

Our work rate off the ball tonight was tremendous. I know the headlines will be about the goals and Fatawu, but we dictated the game when they had the ball, our pressing was outstanding. This was led, as it has been many times before, by our number 9. As good as other players were tonight...
